BFS Blue Enterprises is a wholly Spanish owned firm whose multi-patented, microalgae-based technology uses emissions to produce crude oil and analytical-grade biotech & pharmaceutical products. It was formed in 2006 in eastern Spain after three years of research by scientists and engineers connected with the University of Alicante. Currently, an industrial-size pilot plant has been producing consistent yields with a process proven to produce a standardized quality of products in both an industrially scalable and commercially viable way. All while using and neutralizing CO2 emissions.
